I like the conspiracy theory that the MCDonalds worker doesn't exist and is just a front to hide illegal government surveilance, the likes Snowden warned about. I hope Snowden is well, all things considered. That man deserves peace of mind, hard to come by when you're stuck in Russia.

Had anyone identified the class traitor yet? Assuming they exist, that is.

they’ve been found, but i don’t want to post links in case it’s breaking rules. wasn’t hard to find though.

I don't think they deserve to be doxxed tbh.

The employee “doxxed” a customer in their McDonalds.

Turnabout is fair play. If they didn’t want the attention, they should have kept their head down and minded their own business.

She apparently also missed the tip money because she called 911 instead of the tip line. LMAO

Apparently she also got fired for calling 911 on company time for something not related to McDonalds. (and probably due to the backlash that McDonalds is getting)

That's about what I would have expected.

If you search McDonald's snitch, she's the first result.

I don't see why they need a front. They could just say they tracked him down from regular evidence

Imagine coming top of your class all through school, you fly your way up the ladder by being great at what you do, you get to be part of a super secret intelligence grabbing mission and you then you find out your the one working the fries.

do you think Snowden is on Lemmy?

[–] Quacksalber@sh.itjust.works 2 points 1 week ago

I doubt it. I don't think Snowden can allow himself to use social media much.

That's... not a bad idea. Even if it isn't true we should roll with it.

It seems getting people to believe wild and crazy things is how you get your side to win
