White knuckling every day of my life to enrich the bosses at my 3 part time jobs and my landlord

I just want to live my own basement with kitties, but I guess it's to much to ask of capitalism.
I have witnessed this shit go so south for your generation it makes me sick.
I was able to work 1 job, and earn OT for 3 of the 6 days I usually was scheduled, and even though I was getting paid less than a McDonald's worker my buddy and I were able to buy a duplex for 85k (3br, 1 ba up, 3br, 1 ba down) I rented out the downstairs, and all of the bedrooms upstairs &slept on the couch (I was never home).
That was the last job I ever worked hourly, and became a manager/departmental level (chef).
The last years working in the US it was a steady drive to only employ PT staff, always got grief for 'allowing' OT and saw housing start to go fucking nuts.
My family and I got out...our stress level is damn near zero, and our kids are safe.
I can only offer advice in one direction: if you have a chance to get hired in a hotel with opportunities overseas, do whatever you need to do to get onboard, and get out.
