yeah, flying in planes changed for no one outside of europe and the USA.

Everyone accepted pointless shit to do at the airport and moved on with their life. You get on with bullshit rules and don't question them. People still travel on planes, so not like anyone really protested and stopped air travel.
There's more airport security, alright. But is that really that much of a change?
Especially if you consider how much of the security theater was added well after 9/11, because of other incidents.
