i mean... why? i just toss the controller i already owned in my bag when traveling and have thousands of old games. phone sits up on the table with its case. to me this is a much not sensible and reasonable thing than a handheld console. i don't need the latest aaa games every time I'm not at my pc. i haven't even spent any money on this yet. i already owned all of this for other purposes.

Not really. It's a godsend for long bus/train/plane/whatever rides to be able to have dozens of old quality AAA games in your pocket. A controller very easily fits in a backpack, and there's plenty that'll fit in a pocket.

I use it with Steam link for playing handheld on the couch. Why us that ridiculous?
