Everyone has an air conditioner, although Canada might be the weird one there.

It depends on where you are. In Texas or central California where it gets hot as hell? Yes, huge AC units attached to every building. In Huntington Beach where the weather is always perfect, or the PNW where it only gets hot a few weeks per year? AC is rare.
