As someone with full Android in both their reader and note-taking device, can I ask why you might be hesitant?

Mainly because my ADHD will kick in and instead of using it as a reader and note-taking device, I’ll start doing a lot of other things and experimenting with it. 😁

Only part that’s about the Android is that I’m not sure how long they’ll provide OS and security updates.

I think that is a fair assumption. I find I’m not very distracted. I had a scribe but wanted something that would sync with a cloud service for my notes (I have a boox note air 2+). I wish day though, kobo is looking quite good. I’m really entrenched in the kindle system though 😭
