Comic Books
A place to discuss comic books of all types, from old to new, Big 2 to indie, and everything in between.
Floppies, graphic novels, compilations, omnibusses (omnibusi?) are all fair game.
There is only one rule:*
Comic Books is a no judgement zone.
You can talk all you want about how Rob Liefeld is trash, Bob Kane is an asshole, or Frank Miller and Dave Sim’s politics have made them toxic, that’s all good.
If, however, another user is LEGITIMATELY a fan of something you don’t like, that does NOT make them a lesser person. Attack the art for being bad, not the person for being a fan of bad art.
* I lied. There are TWO rules... No piracy. Cover shots? That's good. Interior pages, in moderation? Sure. Full books? Links to pirate sites? That's how we get things shut down. :(
I'm not saying it's been a problem, because it hasn't been.

Action Comics #1069 - Kind of bummed at how the Absolute Power crossover messed up everything, but I guess it's almost over?
Batman The Brave And The Bold #17 - Still a great anthology book.
Black Cloak #8 - Good book, glad it's back for another run.
Cyberpunk 2077 Kickdown #3 - Weird case of comic books being better than the video games.
Falling In Love On The Path To Hell #4 - Loving this.
Flash #13 - One of the books untouched by Absolute Power, has been an interesting treatise on the Speed Force.
Green Arrow #16 - Kind of bummed at how the Absolute Power crossover messed up everything, but I guess it's almost over?
Helen Of Wyndhorn #5 (Of 6) - Awww... it's almost over?
Missionary #1 - Really like the DSTLRY books, oversized magazine format, top creators, quality reads.
Outsiders #11 (Of 12) - I did not realize this was a limited run. :(
Phases Of The Moon Knight #2 (Of 4) - Moon Knight with an Assassin's Creed vibe. I'm in.
Power Girl #13 - Another book untouched by Absolute Power. Another great book.
Space Ghost #5 - Didn't we JUST get #4? Maybe I'm behind on reading it.
Spectregraph #3 - Really like the DSTLRY books, oversized magazine format, top creators, quality reads.
Ultimate Spider-Man #9 - I've been buying the Ultimate stuff out of habit, but I need to knuckle down and read it all.
Uncanny X-Men #3 - One of the few new X-books worth reading.
Zatanna Bring Down The House #4 - Black Label Zatanna. Yes!
Idk I want to say I already have Space Ghost #5 too. This seems to be a limited edition cover or something, "Cover F Cho Limited Edition."
Yeah I hope Helen of Wyndhorn gets picked up, it feels like this is just the beginning of the story rather than the end.
Sounds like I need to check out Helen.
I'd recommend it for sure! I like the art, and the basic synopsis so far is Helen's author dad dies and she's whisked away to her nearest living kin, her grandfather, who lives in a palatial estate where she continues being a lush. As it turns out those fantastical books about far away realms written by her father may not be as fictitious as she once believed, however...
