During the last election, there were a band of Yahoo's running around with a spray paint marker putting blue dots in front of houses that had Democrat yard signs.

They're preparing for civil war. I'm not saying it's going to happen, but they are marking targets.

For years, the American center-left has been casting these threats as illegitimate. Gravy seals, yall queda, meal team six, etc.

And now since they have successfully downplayed this threat, we are woefully unprepared. People need to get armed, now.

No. you're just trying to stir up a civil war. People need to go drink tea with their neighbours, now.

Ahh , yes two sugars please.

Now tell me again why you feel that forcing a mother with a fatal pregnancy to go full term to kill herself is better than a boarding the fetus.

Well you see, other people, not this girl would take advantage of it. And she's in God's hands anyway.

Mmm, this is quite good is it Yorkshire Gold?

And when a child shows up to your door and rings the bell looking for help how is it that you believe you're in the right to shoot them in the face?

Well, you see, man has to protect himself...

I really don't think I could stomach tea with these people.

[–] leds@feddit.dk 1 points 1 month ago

No, you should definitely not drink tea with those people, but your neighbours? Who have been told to fear you because you are black/white/blue/red or rainbow coloured. Been told that you want destroy their way of living by their echo chambers, by targeted manipulation on social media, by sensationallist tradional media. they have been told to prepare for civil war like the person I replied to. That's all people constantly hear, no-one is telling them to talk to their neighbours.

[–] djsoren19@yiffit.net 2 points 1 month ago

They're already arming themselves for a civil war and openly calling themselves domestic terrorists, and your response is tea? You're naive if you think neighborliness is enough to avoid the coming conflict, they've already killed Americans.

[–] LarmyOfLone@lemm.ee 1 points 1 month ago

If you're from denmark I don't think you can appreciate how radicalized these neighbors have become through extremist news and social media.

That doesn’t matter

All that matters is the side the army takes

Now if you’re looking to start a terrorist group, that would be much more effective than buying a gun. However there are obvious downsides to that too
