The good news is that hospitalization rates haven't gone up much. I find it funny that following a link to figure that out got me to the CDC main page where the first warning wasn't about Covid, but about the West Nile virus cases rising.

First, this is a single anecdotal tweet, but also ED visits are not even remotely the same as hospital admissions. Tons of people go to the ED because they're concerned about their symptoms but are evaluated and sent home because they don't need inpatient care

I'm a hospital worker in Ohio. I've had plenty of positive tests. I've not admitted anyone for COVID in ~3 years.

It's just not deadly anymore.
