I just see to much nationalism and authoritarianism seem to be taking hold along with us style conservatism. As someone form the US it was a hope we could get more like canada/australia/europe but it feels more like we are pulling them in our direction. Then of course there is pollution and global warming and we still have folks in every country trying to fight it. As if they deep down known the truth but desperately want to get what they can now and bury their head in the sand. I mean even if we somehow mitigated climate change we have folks who think underpopulation is a problem. In an age where staples like ocean caught fish (mercury) and brown rice (arsenic), oats (chlormequat ), wheat (chlormequat ) are avoided do to poisons in them.
