The stupid coating on my glasses is rubbing off, how do I just remove it entirely? Acetone maybe?

Hot water and excessive heat from cooking can crack the coating.
I haven't read the manual but I don't think you're supposed to cook your glasses.
Iโm not taking about boiling, just hot out of the tap. It helps gently heat the lenses so they dry faster after being wiped.
