While I have no problem with the UI I found it becoming more like Facebook and twitter. I think it isndroftong to become a Facebook alternative with chat, avatars, profile pages, bios, etc. I liked Reddit at first when it was about content. Now it is becoming about individuals.

Agreed. I don't use tradional social media because I don't care about individuals, I want to see content I like.
