Opinion pieces are also allowed, provided they are not misleading/misrepresented/drivel, and have proper sources.
If you think "reputable news source" needs some definition, by all means start a meta thread. (These things should be publicly discussed)
Posts should be manually submitted, not by bot. Link titles should not be editorialised.
Disappointing comments will generally be left to fester in ratio, outright horrible comments will be removed.
Message the mods if you feel something really should be removed, or if a user seems to have a pattern of awful comments.

Why do they give these lunatics a voice?
Because that is who they are.
The best way to beat candidates like this is to hear what they actually think and then use that against them.
A prime example of this working was when the then leader of the BNP, Nick Griffin, went on Question Time. Straight after that they ceased to be a political force and we've not heard from them since.
That did not work with trump in the U.S.
Gave the guy a platform and he ended up winning.
Because America is mental.

Well, seeing as the EU is turning into some far-right hellscape, I'm glad we got out of it!
There was a small increase in the far right's vote share. I'm pretty sure all those front pages were written last week.
That's not unique the the U.S.
"Give Nazis a megaphone" is not how you stop Nazis.
