I once had somebody give me a rotisserie chicken at work after I helped them load up with a shower door.

Yikes. If it did come from Costco, that rotisserie chicken may have been at room temperature for awhile.

I think the implication might be that the chicken came from somewhere else, more expensive than $5. Though they are only $6-7 at my local grocery stores. More for “family sized” one.
