I've learnt that rhinoceros is rhino-ceros, from Greek meaning nose-horn.

That's literally their name in German (Nashorn), Dutch (Neushoorn), and the Nordic languages (S: Noshörning, DK: Næsehorn, N: Na/eshorn).

yeah same in russian (nosorog), ukrainian (nosorih), slovak (nosorožec), serbian (nosorog) and probs all other slavic languages xd
