For some reason I read grotesque not once but twice, and even went to Google to look up and see if perhaps grotesque had some literal meaning, either related to the architecture or the way the land is.
After my exhaustive research, I think I can safely conclude there is nothing grotesque about this picture. In fact, I'd even say it's picturesque.
Did you check all the roofs for the hidden grotesque?
