If you still have a USB-A charger, you don't have to change it as long as it works, but in the future you'll know they'll all be USB-C and you should just get a USB-C cable accordingly.
However more than wireless charging, which will still take years to have it for everyone in an affordable way, I would worry about the propietary fast charging of some manufacturers (it's not just Apple unfortunately) since with this legislature I don't know if anything should change... Although I think it's just Qualcomm/Mediatek's Quick Charge with a different name and it should be all good for us, but I have that doubt.
