literally what everyone that watches nichijou says it's great and recommends it it's very highly rated do you mean underwatched

Literally everyone hasn't seen it, therefore it's underrated. And maybe in your circle of the world, I've met like 2 people who've seen it

that's not what underrated means underrated means people don't like it as much as they should not that not many people have watched it I haven't met anyone personally who's seen it I haven't seen it but I've seen loads of people recommend it online and it sits at an 83% on anilist and an 8.46 on MAL that is a very highly rated show underrated does not mean not many people have watched it

Baby why you gotta be so pedantic, I'm just saying it's good, really bringing the reddit atmosphere over here

It's rated pretty high. It's just somewhat unpopular. But all the ratings are really good. So factually, it's very well rated

Nichijou was ahead of its time. but 15 years is a lot of time in which manga authors have caught up, or absorbed the potent parts of Nichijou into their own works, and on the anime side the budgets on hit series are wayyyy higher now.

Nichijou is underrated, in terms of its impact, and of what it was. but Nichijou is overrated, in terms of how it would stack up against the competition if it had been released today. but that's coming from an English speaker: i hear the amount of humor which "doesn't translate" is reallly high for this one.
