Don‘t worry, many mastodon servers are blocking threads out of principle, infosec.space for example

Yeah there was a website floating around that had the names of all the instances protesting the federation of threads. Ill see if i can dig it up, or maybe someone else will be quicker than me to post a link

Bit of an error I noticed: My instance (dice.camp) shows on the list as federated with threads, even though we are defederated with them.
