Everybody up in here talking about porn games... I just want to be able to hide Stardew Valley so I can avoid the imaginary judgment of my friends playing much harder or competitive games.
Embrace it. It's a great game. Gaming doesn't have to be about bloodshot eyeballs.
Yeah, you're totally right. I've leaned into the "rather chill than sweat" gaming camp in the last few years. It's nice to play games that are friendly and non-violent. SDV and Talos Principle 2 have been my gotos recently.
Cozy gaming is based
Your friends are self conscious of their own perceived skill and value. Or toxic masculinity, possibly.
Nah, my friends don't actually care, this is tongue in cheek for all the times I'm playing SDV and they're all masochistically playing From Soft games. That's why I said "imaginary" judgement.
Bro, what? Stardew is the shit. I told all my friends about it, and yeah, most gave me some weird looks, but I don't care, I need to water my potatoes and feed my chickens.
Are you on the beach farm? If not, invest in sprinklers! You'll have so much more free time!
I actually installed a couple of automation mods as well of the sprinklers, and it's so great now. I still have to tend to my crops, but now I can automatically turn all my eggs into mayo while I am doing other tasks.
I hear you. I just want to play Hogwarts Legacy without the added drama and commentary… 😬
