Comic Books
A place to discuss comic books of all types, from old to new, Big 2 to indie, and everything in between.
Floppies, graphic novels, compilations, omnibusses (omnibusi?) are all fair game.
There is only one rule:*
Comic Books is a no judgement zone.
You can talk all you want about how Rob Liefeld is trash, Bob Kane is an asshole, or Frank Miller and Dave Sim’s politics have made them toxic, that’s all good.
If, however, another user is LEGITIMATELY a fan of something you don’t like, that does NOT make them a lesser person. Attack the art for being bad, not the person for being a fan of bad art.
* I lied. There are TWO rules... No piracy. Cover shots? That's good. Interior pages, in moderation? Sure. Full books? Links to pirate sites? That's how we get things shut down. :(
I'm not saying it's been a problem, because it hasn't been.

New comic list for this week! What's on your pull list?
Some of the interesting titles this week:
Agent #1 - Supernatural detective murder mystery. Could be interesting, I'm going to at least look at it.
Animal Pound #1 (Of 4) - Tom King pens an animal revolt against the humans! TONS of talented variant covers.
Batman Off-World #2 - I'm kind of treating this as the Batman version of Superman Lost. He's off planet, learning how to fight extra-terrestrial threats who have no fear of humans, or bats.
Batman Santa Claus Silent Knight #3 - Better than any right it has being, should wrap up right after Christmas.
Borealis #1 - One of the original Dark Horse creators, Mark Verheiden, is back for a dark Alaska story.
Canary #2 - Scott Snyder's western tale continues!
Cyberpunk 2077 XOXO #3 - Amother tie in to the video game, but all of these have been far better than the game.
Destroyer #1 - From Bad Idea, print only publisher. All their stuff has been super interesting!
Doctor Strange #10 - Been loving the Doctor Strange + Clea as a married couple storyline.
G.O.D.S. #3 - Interesting take on magical organizations in the Marvel Universe.
Hawkgirl #6 - Final issue!
Jay Garrick The Flash #3 - 1/2 way through one of the three new JSA books!
Nightwing #109 - Continuing the "Pirate Dick" story.
Rare Flavours #3 - What can I say about this? Part travelogue, part recipe book, but with also a super creepy vibe I can't quite put my finger on.
Rumpus Room #4 - Creepy CEO as psycho serial killer nearing an end.
Spider-Boy #2 - I'm a sucker for Humberto Ramos.
Superman #9 - Another installment of the excellent Dawn of DC Supes run.
Wonder Woman #4 - Don't sleep on this one. Amazons are an international threat.
Fall of X:
Astonishing Iceman #5
Original X-Men #1 - Not sure what's going on here. Looks like the time displaced X-Men team from the old X-Men Blue book is back?
Rom And The X-Men Marvel Tales #1 - OK, so hear me out... Back in the 80s, Marvel did this toy tie-in called "ROM - Spaceknight". The toy flopped and vanished, the comic was better than it had any right being. Attracted top talent because, I guess, there were no expectations. ROM got fully integrated into the Marvel universe.
THIS book reprints the 4 X-Men crossover issues, including one of the earlier Rogue appearances.
Uncanny Avengers #5 - Final issue of the X-Men/Avengers mash-up!
Rare Flavours has been so good! I'll have to check out Borealis too.
