It's not going to happen, that's the reality. Frankly, the way things are going, I'm not expecting EU to be around too much longer either.

My expectations are that the economic crisis will drive civil unrest in EU bloc that will ultimately cause countries to leave it due to inherent disagreements. EU already fucked over countries like Greece during the 2008 crash, and we can expect more of the same during this crash.

What's irrational is to ignore what's happening in front of your eyes. Dissolution of EU is a process that's going to take years to come to fruition. However, the seeds of this process have already been planted.
