Note: originally posted in c/nostupidquestions but I didn't notice many members, so if you've seen this before that's why

I want to draw some fediverse mascots and the only few I've seen unnamed are Lemmy's and Mastodon's. If the name is Lemmy, I'll be okay with that too. Anyone know either of their names?

Also, it's a mouse, right? Or another rodent?

In popular culture, a longstanding myth holds that they jump off cliffs and commit mass suicide.

The "Misconceptions" section also has some interesting bits.

Another myth may have roots in the fiercely aggressive nature of lemmings during population booms, and the corresponding leftovers of predatory frenzies: lemmings do not explode.
