Hexbear has been here since before Lemmy even had implemented activitypub. For 3 years they've successfully existed in their niche and will continue to do so in the future.
Not to mention that thanks to federation they've gained many more uses and have left a mark on the rest of the fediverse that my instance, Lemmygrad, could've only dreamed of!
We're defining this space while all you are trying to do is to create a shitty Reddit knockoff. I'm sorry but your model is going to fail. You have nothing to offer to users that Reddit doesn't have, and they will not care. The whole third party app debacle has already died down, and most simply never cared.
Then go define this space somewhere else.
Believe me, nobody will miss you
