I'm a white straight guy getting married to a woman next week (can I get some honey for that) but I'm in full support of decent human beings. My fiance was asking why I signed up with the gay server, and it's because you guys are just nice and relaxed community. Also, our celebrant is a lesbian, but most importantly, my best friend and that's what matters, right?

idk man a lot of people enjoy the company of demographics they aren't. i feel more at ease with people older than me, and a lot of women prefer the company of men and vice versa. i think you for sure have a place with the lgbt crowd and you don't have to pick apart why that is to justify it
