Wasn’t this the ice cream that was super regulated by the government so it had to be made, essentially, perfect?
It was, but that’s to be expected due to state standardized production.

I think it’s weird that that guy is so against Plombir because it’s plain and regulated. But isn’t that a good thing, that food is regulated? He’s acting as if the Soviet Union lacked flavour in general and therefore were an a front to God. So what, did they just not have spices back then? I’m confused why they’re so angry.
Anyway, thank you for the article, I’m definitely interested since I saw a nice post about it on Twitter. Who doesn’t love ice cream???
