lmao I remember this. Plombir was a cheap ice cream made available throughout the entire Soviet Union, which of course means that Ukrainians are super nostalgic for it too.
The polish ลnieลผka is basically the same too. It's frankly good shit, to the point where you can find Plombir even in every supermarket here in Germany, even in the west and in the countryside.
Who would have guessed that you could make ice cream with checks notes cream and sugar and it would be good? Americans need fifty ingredients that can only be derived in a lab for our treats!
But just imagine how much worse it would taste without 4-methylacetophenone
