I'd approach it logically.

If 50/50 = you are / you aren't

Then

(50/50)^2 = you are are / you are aren't / you aren't are / you aren't aren't

Applying the locig gates AND : 25%. OR : 75%. XOR : 50% NAND : 75% NOR: 25% XNOR : 50%

The results average at 50/50.
