At least I can hope that people will stop with the "100% renewables are impossible". They won't, but one can still hope.
I mean in most of the world they are until we crack efficient energy storage (see: California).

Killing birds with giant fans actually requires a lot of luck because it is so ineffective.
Cars or fossil fuel power plants are much better suited for this purpose.
