A nice place to discuss rumors, happenings, innovations, and challenges in the technology sphere. We also welcome discussions on the intersections of technology and society. If it’s technological news or discussion of technology, it probably belongs here.
Remember the overriding ethos on Beehaw: Be(e) Nice. Each user you encounter here is a person, and should be treated with kindness (even if they’re wrong, or use a Linux distro you don’t like). Personal attacks will not be tolerated.

After how pleasant I'm finding Lemmy, if I ever get the urge to join a short-form social site I'll use Mastodon.
Facebook is literally the last company I would join for this.
I'd highly recommend Mastadon, I love it and joined it before I ever discovered Lemmy. I love how personalized it is. I follow hashtags for things that interest me and follow cool people that I've randomly found on there. It's a nice, quaint, and positive community it seems. At least thus far.
You seem like the type of person who enjoys watching soft gay pornos because the romance makes you cry
you've made six comments on here and of them two are useless while three others have rancid vibes or are just actively in violation of our rules. easy ban.
Thank you for your service :-)
Thank you. I would hope your personal and laborious application ( a human having to read each one) would weed out people like that. I guess that's naive.
oh in this case this was someone from another instance, not someone who registered on here. we have only banned one person whose account is actually on this community, and that was a person who was approved when we just approved everyone but obvious spam bots.
