It's on the Series X/S and the PS5. They're bringing it to the previous console generation now.
But why? I don't understand people who get upset that new games come out on new console generations, they hold engines back. If you can't afford one then wait to play those games until you can get the new one. Gaming is something that requires you to upgrade, and a new console once every 6-8 years isn't that bad.
This is just a case of making the game as profitable as possible. Most people still haven’t upgraded to the current generation and releasing the game again means a ton of money is gonna be made. This isn’t some result of fan outcry, EA just wants to get that bag.
That makes much more sense. As a fan, I'd urge people to wait, I can only assume a game made for a system that business forced onto an older system will feel subpar.
I'm looking at you, Cyberpunk 2077. How many of your developers begged you to only make it for PS5/XboxSeriesX?
Ah ok I got those mixed up. That's surprising considering they don't even sell those anymore.
