There's a Pratchett quote that goes something like,

"In a universe so full of wonders, it's a marvel that humans invented boredom."

Your post reminded me of that.

As a lifelong Pratchett fan I do think he teaches a lot of good lessons! They're just slipped in among the endless punes so's you don't always notice.
