I agree, there are still ways to sell your food cheap though. A good example is a vegan/vegetarian burger place near me. Demand for that kind of food is high because it's a liberal college town, but that restaurant is the only one of its kind here, so it's always full. Also they sell more fancy, more expensive dinner options in the evening which I'm sure subsidizes the cheap burgers. And if you mainly go there for their burgers you might return for dinner sometime to try out those options. They've existed for around 10 years now and their cheapest burger has stayed at 4,50€ that whole time.

Granted it's hard to know what kind of demand there is in your town without trying some stuff and maybe failing.

Plonk on my couch, cronch on some chips and at the end push the crumbs off my shirt. Yeah I do that very regularly.

I usually walk just a little more leisurely than I normally would, so the car has to wait two seconds longer.

But if the driver is an asshole (sometimes, when I have the right of way or am already in the middle of the street when they come along they will honk at me to move faster) I stop dead in my tracks, turn and look at them like "are you trying to warn me of something? What are you tryjbg to alert me of?". Because honking isn't supposed to be your anger relief when something is not going as you want.

Huh I should probably get my cat to the vet... He likes to eat small amounts of hair, leaves, dust and almost all human food (bread, uncooked pasta, sweets, etc. etc.). Of course only until we stop him. We thought he's just bored and a bit stupid but it's definitely not normal.

Edit: we bought cat litter that had grain in it... Yup he ate that out of his litter box a few times :) :)

Yup, they will hate being put on a diet of course but you will have them around and happy much longer.

In the call center I get around 4 hours before I start blabbering nonsense. Luckily I only work 5 hours a day.

So this summer it was like 30°C / 85°F at home and whenever I used TikTok or YouTube on my phone it would get really hot so I took off the case whenever I used it. My phone fell down one time (I'm not used to it being so slick!) and that's why it's now broken. In the back. Because for some stupid reason it's made of glass or something.

Note to myself: my next phone should be one of these unbreakable military grade phones.

Of course it's a huge victory. I'm just afraid that if some key issues aren't handled to the voters' satisfaction (be it left leaning or right leaning voters) they will be disappointed in this coalition and again turn to pis or other, fringe parties which would give pis more power again. We have seen so often, not only in Germany, how people vote for a party solely because of one single issue and if you have to trade off some of your democratic systems to reach that goal that's a sacrifice they're willing to make.

This coalition is made up of centre left to centre right parties. I hope they will fare better than the ruling coalition here in Germany, which is also centre left to centre right. Our coalition has the issue that whatever they do, some voters are gonna be pissed and unfortunately support for them has tanked. I would hate for pis to win again next election.

My cats aren't allowed in the kitchen because it's basically our storage room for anything the cats would otherwise destroy, so I'd put the cat grass in the kitchen for most of the time and only put it out for them sometimes. That way the grass has time to recover in between.

To be honest though I'm terrible at keeping plants alive so I don't buy cat grass. I've resorted to giving them normal grass I collect outside. My cats eat that too.
