I think a bunch of ignorant politicians in the US think that's going to be their ticket for competing with China because they refuse to invest into workers. They're basically betting that AI would allow them to automate a lot of the jobs, and that's how they'll get back on top.

The US will exploit the current state of European weakness mercilessly, reducing it to a dependent appendage, stripped of autonomy and dignity.

Europe stands on the precipice of its own century of humiliation that it's marching into with eyes wide open. It's is no longer a player at the table of global power, and now finds itself on the menu.

Indeed, the whole narrative of China stealing is rooted in a racist narrative that aims to dismiss the technological progress that China is making.

Learning languages is a great use case. I'm learning Mandarin right now, and being able to chat with a bot is really great practice for me. Another use case I've found handy is using it as a sounding board. The output it produces can stimulate new ideas in my own head, and it makes it a good exploration tool that let me pull on different threads of thought.
