That's hilarious and depressing.

The author of that page gave up in May 2021. I'm guessing that they sold their Tesla shares in utter disgust at that point.

Pretty sure that it still hasn't happened today in Jan 2025, despite people making adult movies in the front of a "self-driving" Tesla. Something that seems like a life limiting choice if ever I saw one.

It's weird that this report focuses on reporting the tyres rather than the reason for the rejected take off. It even goes on to discuss other unrelated aviation tyre events for no particularly apparent reason.

It's like saying that the coffee cup spilled coffee when it was dropped onto the ground .. duh.

Is it just me or is Elmo now just announcing random shit and hoping that by magic it just instantly exists?

That schedule of fees looks like it's straight from the 1980's.

I read a social media expert thread that essentially pointed out that the news cycle is now so rapid that doing nothing for a couple of days is better than doing anything because any response at all will be met with more news cycle.

If it was my problem to solve, here's how I'd go about it, since I know nothing about either.

Start with the solar panels since the barrier to entry is much lower and after they're installed, you don't need to do much with them.

Then use your spare time to learn about beehives and go from there.

If that's what installing Linux is like I don't want to know what installing Windows looks like.

Also, in unrelated news, I'm now available for Linux installs..

Seems that charging fees like that will make it profitable to hire video editors to provide a "top notch highlighted edits reel" for every FOI reasons, what could possibly go wrong?

You don't need to.

By using metrics like IP address , age, gender, race, religion, city, workplace, application, website, favourite song, colour and flavour, throw in a few more questions and you can lucratively target specific groups of people.

By COMBINING those metrics you can target extremely small groups of people, groups with precisely ONE member.

No need for a unique GUID at all.
