It was previously commercialized as Lightning Fastener in NA, or hookless fastener in contrast with previous "technology".

Non-english languages sometimes have other words for it, if they encountered it before the Zipper was widespread. In Spanish we have cremallera and cierre. Old timers say fecho-de-correr or "fecho eclair" in Portuguese, referring to another patent holder Éclair Prestil.

Yeah, I know. It goes from “impossible luxury” to “barely affordable” as you go from downtown towards the edges of the metro region. Just saying that it’s not surprising for Vancouver that those prices are so jacked up.

Detached homes shouldn’t even exist in Vancouver metrocore anymore so, it makes sense to be a fortune

archive.is is privately funded by its owners, while archive.org is a registered non-profit. They are not the same.

I guess that should also translate into possibly higher prices for the Mac Pro/Studio line? Or not? I don't really know, but not worrying about GPU prices feels nice.

Cool, I guess. I've been playing Diablo IV on my Mac at pretty decent performance thanks to their new portability kit. I was very close to getting a steamdeck and now I'm sure I don't need one to have some gaming in my life apart from the time-killers in my phone.

Recently, but it's mostly just for kicks. Don't take it too seriously.
