Same. Very interested in the topic, but the writing style was extremely off-putting. I made it as far as I could but all the random asides and crossed out "jokes" were a big miss for me.

Unbeknownst to most, Target has a top-rated forensic services laboratory that provides forensic examinations, and assists outside law enforcement with help on special cases.

Target and Walmart both declined to comment for this story, but in a press release from 2012, Target said it volunteers to get involved with with “felony, homicide, and special-circumstances cases.” In 2008, a Target spokesperson told the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review that a quarter of the cases it worked on were unrelated to the company itself.

Thanks for mentioning the original source! Here's BlueScuti's video, to save everyone else some searching. The moment he beats it is here, at 38:30.

Which do you think looks better - a 2.6 GPA, or a 2.6 GPA and having earned a CCNA?

Some employees just flag keywords and having CCNA will get you a few hits for that reason alone. It also gives you a foot in the door to address your interests and to offer any explanation you may want to give for your grades. Maybe you've had family or life difficulties or you've struggled with physical or mental illness. You can take the chance in an interview to explain how you had some difficulty but then you chose to dedicate the last several months to study and earn the CCNA. I think that will go a good way towards demonstrating to an employer that you are motivated and willing to work.

It's eye catching because the bright primary colors are really different from what you see in a lot of apps today! I do think the pressed bookmark button is not immediately visually apparent, so I would suggest maybe making it slightly desaturated or otherwise more obviously different from the two next to it.

Wiped my 13 year account a few days ago and haven't gone back to Reddit since RIF died. I'm mostly just waiting for one of the apps (Sync or Boost for Lemmy) to come out to do a full replacement; for now I'm just mobile browsing here.
