As much as I hate to see nuclear proliferation, Russia hasnt really given Ukraine much choice in the matter, seeing that Russia is willing to invade any non-nuclear states around it.

There is no downside here

The MegaTen games have some weird ones, yeah. Like Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Summoner: Soul Hackers, then the sequel to that came out and it was just Soul Hackers 2. Same with how Persona 1 was Megami Ibunroku Persona and then became Shin Megami Tensei: Persona. Oh and how theres two Persona 2s, Innocent Sin and Eternal Punishment. Great games but man, really should have been like Persona 2 Part 1 and Part 2.

Berserk 1997. Berserk is my favorite thing of all time, but it is deff not for the faint hearted.

Highly recommend the manga too. Its a bit different, but same atmosphere and general story. It has more context as 1997 was only designed for one season, so it cut out a lot of things that would have become important later on.

Title says it all. I've used the most up to date GE for it, and it kind of works, but I get some odd visual bugs. Additionally, any other Proton release ive used disables audio in cutscenes. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Im using Kubuntu, which is Ubuntu but with KDE desktop environment.

Just today, I was using windows on my laptop, playing a game made for windows, Black Ops. And it crashes every time I boot up the Call of the Dead. On linux, while it does stutter on that map depending on where i am, I can still play it surprisingly. Its very strange.

GDI Titans if GDI were even more based.

When you see numbers like this, it can be very numbing. 600000 casualties. How many more Russians are going to die before standing up against their tyrant? Its sickening. Ukraine winning this war will not only save Ukrainian lives, but Russian lives too.

Wow. Russia spent hundreds of millions of dollars worth of cruise missiles and drones to kill 7 people and not even blow up a dam. What an acheivement.

Fuck these Putin clowns.

Hello! I'm a small time vtuber who moved to MX Linux a while back. I use a 3d model, and while I was able to get my model working, with the help of my husband (even better than windows actually,) we cannot get my hand tracking to work.

I've used the ultra leap on Windows with no issues. On the same PC, I tried to get it working on Linux. I use MX Linux (xfce), and the system is up to date. I know that the "Gemini" software only officially supports Ubuntu 22.04, but Ubuntu is Debian based and so is MX. So, I gave it a try. The program installed fine, and it seems to work normally. The device seems to be connected, and I can view its output through the web cam viewer.

However, the ultra leap Gemini program can't find the device. I'm far from a Linux expert, but I tried all the program's terminal commands that I could. I think what I need is to point the program to the device ID or something, maybe. Does anybody have any experience with something like this?

We also tried the older version of the program and that didn't work either. But I remember less about that. It was all terminal based I think.

I use OpenSeeFace and VSeeFace as my tracking software.

Any tips or trick I could try? If all else fails, I could migrate to Ubuntu, but I really enjoy my MX setup.

P.S. If this isnt the place to ask these sorts of questions, could someone direct me to where I might be able to get help?

I wanna thank everyone who helped and offered advice! My husband came up with a solution to use Xubuntu, as its very similar visually to my current OS, and most, if not all console commands I use will work properly. We attempted getting it to work in MX Linux, using the rather limited documentation available, but in the end, I am no Linux expert and changing to a new OS is not a big deal. Anyway, again, thank you everyone.

My husband recently upgraded to an AM4 platform. His issue is that there is no display. The gpu fans look like they are trying to start, but cannot. Additionally, there is no POST sound and the power button, while able to turn on the pc, will not turn it off. The lights on the motherboard work, as do the cpu fans and case fans.

I told him i think its a short, but he says the case has preinstalled standoffs. My other suspicion is a bad PCI-E port. It is a used motherboard.

Specs: Processor: Ryzen 1700 Motherboard: B350M Gaming Pro MSI RAM: DDR4 XPG Adata GPU: GTX 1060 6gb Also tried: Radeon R7 250

Thanks in advanced!

Edit: Oh wow so many posts! I'll try various solutions and keep you all updated on what work.

I have been playing a lot of the DOS version of Simcity 2000 recently. I grew up with it on my windows 98 pc, so revisiting it was nice. There were a few thing I picked up on that I never realized when I was young.

1: The game, especially the soundtrack, reminds me of Blade Runner. It has the synthy jazz instrumentals that are melancholic, but also has that classic simcity cheer.

2: The game kind of has a dystopian feel to it, at least visually. The ground is brown, with only sparse trees filling the world, buildings are fairly realistic, with not many colors, outside of the luxury homes and the Arcos are very intimidating structures, like something out of Judge Dredd or, again, Blade Runner.

3: Omg, water sucks in this game xD.

Why does this game feel so moody, at least to me? It's also intensly funny, and I will never not laugh when 1700 llamas die in a plane crash.
