It sounds terrible but I hope the ux doesn’t improve, as it acts as a barrier to entry to a lot of the shit-tier Reddit users.

Seeing the low-quality comments starting to appear is disappointing.

Same. I like Memmy but the search function isn’t very good. Although this could be user error!

How does it compare to Memmy?

[–] time_example@lemmy.ml 2 points 1 year ago

It’s a few things. It’s the positive feedback loop of seeing and feeling yourself get bigger and stronger. It’s the rush of good chemicals/hormones/whatever the body releases. It’s the feeling/thought that there is nothing you could be doing that could be more beneficial for your health, and knowing the knock-on effects that has for you long term. Its the pump.

It’d been on my wish list for ages so I was excited to get it on ps plus this month. At first I was surprised at how ‘checkpointy’ it is. I think, for a modern player you’ve got to give it a chance to get going, and for the atmosphere and story to kick in. But yeah, I’m certainly enjoying it and sticking with it.

Everyone writes in clear, concise and grammatically correct sentences too lol. It’s slightly surreal.

Actually (!) the majority of Reddit users are not American. Although Americans make up the largest single group, they’re in the minority overall.

Yep. Without Apollo r/gymmemes isn’t an option, so I’m really to find this place with using Memmy :)

That’s when you’ve gotta cycle back to your ancient playlists from years ago. I’m going through it now. I’ve played everything to death.
