Noob Question: If you aren't willing to deal with custom OSes like Linux (for computers) and Android Custom Roms (for phones), do you just not have any privacy at all? in c/privacyguides@lemmy.one

If the SteamDeck ships with SteamOS then you put Windows on it, does that make Windows a custom OS everywhere?

I mostly just use Brave whenever possible, I usually add a password manager to it.

What @Hy34x@feddit.de posted is about right. There has been many instances of the "communication issues" mentioned. I think this is the only good step to make, and will hopefully start a healing process in these communities.

Lemmy has a progressive webapp if apps don't work out for some people.
