Isn't it called AI because marketing people don't understand the difference?

It's a wonderful distro that will teach you a lot about how Linux works. It's weird, and beautiful and you might brick your system or an essential component (why the heck would I need groff?), but you'll come out the other side knowing more and appreciating how things work and how easy they've become.
You're conflating the OS with desktop managers. And I disagree, terminals are an extremely useful tool - on any OS you'll eventually get into situations that you can only solve using a terminal (even on windows) because that's how these systems work internally (which is a good thing, because it's easy to automate).
