Just letting you know that I think about your post from time to time

VERY late reply, but thank you the words :)

I was on a depression phase 10 months ago when this was posted, but unfortunately I'm still stuck on that phase. I don't know when I'll be ready to get back up, but recently I'm starting to see a glimpse of hope--a light at the end of the tunnel.

I just don't know how I'm gonna fix my big mistake in the past, I really don't. Fuck.

Thank you, sorry for being negative.

Can I be honest? Religion. Anything related to it, somehow will get someone downvote me. Even if I just mention "God" or something. I get that I should "separate the church from the state" or I should be secular here or whatevs, and I respect that. It's not like every time I mention I force it down to everyone's throat!

Tbh I wanted to make a post that greet everyone on Lemmy that are doing Ramadhan fasting at first, but now I don't even feel like doing that. There's no point of posting it, I guess, if it got downvoted and no one wants to see it.

I guess this means that Lemmy isn't much different from Reddit...

Identifying mushroom has always been mysterious to me--how did they differentiate many of the mushroom? Especially I heard that there are so many different mushroom that looks identical

Surprisingly, it works. There are some minor errors, like the app not being able to open the new format of reddit post links, error 404 on profile page, many more

High-density housing

Ever read a book, watched a movie, or played a video game that you love the universe/world so much that you want to move there and live there forever?

I'm assuming that most of you are from the US so probably using cars, but lemme know if you use trains, subways, buses, etc.

Me? Back when I was doing an internship I walked to a nearby station for 10 minutes then transited to another train line, which could be an instant or 20 minutes wait. After that I walked for 10 minutes to my work place. So it was probably about 40 minutes of commute. Of course, I live in tropical country so I'm drenched in sweat as I arrive in the office.

Fortunately every year my city's public transportation seems to get better and as a result I barely needed to use cars.

Perhaps failure in college, class, career, or other things.

Recently, I started looking into electronic music stuff, and remembered that I used to listen to this mixtape back in 2019, and thought, wow this is really good! I think the quality is still holds up to this day. Instant classic, really.

Highlights:

  • stunning artwork around the mixtape--from the visualizer to the album art
  • slowthai feature on the track High Beams
  • the one and only JPEGMAFIA on the track How To Build A Relationship
  • SOPHIE (RIP)

I was actually quite surprised at how good this album was--even way back before I was into Radiohead at all.

Personally my favorite songs here are The Eraser, Black Swan, and And it Rained All Night.

Seeing the other post here about YouTuber that went downhill and seeing content creators I am familiar with makes me sad. But how about those that still makes great, high quality content?
