Tl;Dr: It varies very drastically by locale. Rural Americans can often live okay on "very* minimal income. Standards on what " poor" and "normal" vary about as widely between parts of America as they do between America and where you're from.

Where I live (Dallas), I'm making around $40,000 in an area where the median is $60,000. I live alone, but I will have to buy a new car this year and I will barely be able to make my payments. I do not have a college degree, and I'm still basically entry level.

I've been looking at moving a lot recently. If I moved where I want to live (Oregon), I'd probably make the same or slightly less money, and my rent and expenses would probably rise by a few hundred a month. In effect, I would barely be getting by if I didn't have a car payment.

I've also been looking at Chicago, where the median wage is slightly less than I make now, but cost of living is slightly lower, and I'd make slightly more. I also wouldn't have to have a car, so my disposable income would rise drastically.

Do I have to keep them down? Because if I can rip and salt them before, I can eat a lot, but I'm going to need my stomach pumped. Even if there isnt something toxic in there, they will cause a bowel obstruction.

Speaking from real world experience, I can consume around 1 kilogram relatively comfortably, with normal water consumption. I might be able to push that to 1.1kg with minimal water, but I wouldn't if yakking means I lose it all.

Hey, maybe it was one of those "oh shit, I'm having a baby RIGHT NOW" deliveries.

Not ideal, but it happens. My friend's sister was literally in labor for less than an hour.

Well...I hear good things about Ritalin. Good luck, and godspeed lol

I am so not jealous. Just know that we appreciate all your hard work.

My computer is a Frankenstein of components from the past 15 years or so. I probably won't stop upgrading, simply because when something goes bad, replacing it with something better is usually reasonable enough to make sense.

Also because whatever gremlin lives in there causes crashes around 9 months after every upgrade. At this point, the entire thing has been ship of theseus'd at least once (usually 2-3 times), so I have no idea what it could be. But each time, I can narrow it to a specific part, which I replace and then it goes away for another 9-ish months.

Edit: I got distracted and didn't answer the question. Tl;Dr: No, because using the deck for something intensive or performance dependent like competitive or AAA titles is insane to me.

I saw a lot of tianamen didn't happen, CCP worship, etc on there for the first few days after I registered, which is a bit problematic.

I wound up blocking them after a couple days, more because I don't care about a tiny fringe movement (in my country), and don't have any interest in their content.

Honestly all of them. All of the in person groups near me have dried up, and my ADHD is too bad to try and use roll20 or any of that.

But cyberpunk red is one I've wanted to try. I love cyberpunk settings, and the shadowrun ruleset...oof.

Me and ellipsis lol.

Nobody has only terrible ideas. The original Nazis got Hugo Boss to design their uniforms after all, and that turned out well.

The rest of it though...woof.

We do have...something similar, but they are nice enough that I don't think I've heard of them brigading.

Which honestly...not that spreading propaganda and misinformation is a good thing, but as long as they don't actively try to antagonize or disrupt other communities, I'm okay with them.

Honestly, I feel so bad criticizing without contributing, but at the same time, I don't have any relevant skills with which to contribute.

The Murderbot Diaries.

I've been enjoying it, it has a surprising amount of heart for a series about an emotionally damaged not-robot.
