My nearest burger joint is locally owned and charges $11.75 for a single burger and $12.75 for a double. The fries are $3.50.

I agree, as much as I'd love for that to be the America we live in, it's not.

Not to mention bullshit.

Why leave the kid in the car at all? My kids go inside with me if the wife isn't there wanting to stay in the car. Doesn't matter if I'm going in a store for 2 minutes.

The crazy thing is that the news here in the Midwest tells people each year to put something important, like their phone, in the car seat to remember the kid.

I read somewhere they send a denial letter. Not sure what implications that has.

I had a neighbor ask me about my Starlink. They said they had ViaSat and were posting $180 a month for a 2gb data cap with 2-3mb speeds and would have to purchase more for overages. Internet was a requirement because she worked from home. I used to have Hughesnet and they have the same structure.

Yes, Musk sucks, but Starlink has been a game changer for us rural folk.

While it's not ideal, had he said no to the question, the media would have spun it as, "Biden refuses to call Xi a dictator".
