I think he got upset that she stepped in front of him to block his way before asking her question. He took it as disrespect and made the excuse to leave.

Even developers, who are among the most tech savvy users

Doubt

I have owned 3 G203 mice (never again) and they have all failed the same way, with the left mouse button switch failing and causing double clicks/inability to select anything without resetting.

Quality must depend on which model you get.

Sure. If you want to climb the corporate ladder, chasing money and power AND daddy is paying your expenses that's the way it works.

Fixed that for you. Internships only benefit the wealthy.

Don't get your hopes up for good animation at the end of the animated series. It gets real bad before the end.

But X-Men '97 is everything I could have hoped for it to be!

Don't. Flying a Klingon flag is a recipe disaster. Pretty much any non Trekkie is going to think you are a nazi

I just finished a binge watching of Enterprise and by the end of the third episode I started playing a game called "Lunch and Lingerie". Every episode has to have a meal scene and an underwear scene. Not many disappointed

Except the rate IS set

Correct. The rate is 0% and it is up to the charity of the customer to do anything more since, as you say, there is a lack of an enforcement mechanism. I am happy you are able to manage your income on the expectation of tips, but many tipped workers are not in your enviable position.

Since you are not able to set your own rate prior to settling the bill, you are not selling your labor to consumers at all. You are depending on the arbitrary mood of the consumer to possibly offset the insufficient wage your employer is paying you.
