Unless you have a secondary timeserver set up, blocking pool.npt.org is going to mess up a lot of programs that are dependent on time.

I may be weird, but I don't mind the YouTube shorts too much.

It's like a little taste of the people I subscribe to.

I've done ny best to shake out ableist, racist, and other harmful speech.

We may be able to speak freely but we are all held accountable for the words we say

Github works and it's worked for a long time

Unless they pull a Reddit, then it will be the main source for a long time

See, sites run by sane people know that so long as you give a consistent functioning product then the base will stay and grow.

They don't even have to innovate much so long as those two factors are there

I wonder when the shock of reddit being evil will ware off

[–] popemichael@lemmy.world 9 points 1 year ago

They're just doing their part for decentralized social media.

If their fans love them enough, they'll make an account.

Damn, I needed that laugh!

Why would they care? They are, consequence free, rewriting the laws to more fit their needs.

They don't need to justify their existence when there is no consequence for any action that they take…

It's funny, all they had to do was make better mod tools then stay the course and Reddit would have been the biggest social media company.

All of this change for the worse will end up killing them in the long run

Musk needs to serve those papers to Reddit too.

They're not even changing the plagiarism to try to hide it.

It's best to avoid passwords that include your fetish

If someone gets to know you, they can more easily guess that you're a Hamtaro or Richard Gere fetishist

Oh, that's SUPER useful! Thank you
