Well since posts are numbered sequentially, you could archive all of them by generating the links. Tiny issue is, this would include every post that was federated with the server, which is almost 2 million it seems. A bit overkill for a relatively small instance.

I think if you filter by local on the main page and click next until you get to the end, there aren't that many pages. You could save those with outlinks.

Also, I believe, the posts will live on on other instances regardless.

Is this Innovation™?

A smartass and wrong! You obviously messed up thinking OP's initial upvote wouldn't count towards the percentage. The correct formula is n + 2 upvotes for n downvotes, which makes 0.5 < (n+2) / (2n + 2) < 0.505, solve for the smallest possible n₀ = 100, giving us 102 + n upvotes and 100 + n downotes

2 + 50% means that 51 + n people upvoted and 50 + n people downvoted, where n is a natural number. Making the % (x): 50% < x < 50.50%, where x is rounded down to 50%.

So nice to see that these posts are actually letting people know about this and help the effort :)

This is golden. Thank you for sharing.

edit: A comment from her under the video:

I was using Windows 7 and 8 but they became unusable because they were not getting anymore updates. Because they were both end of life and I couldn't update my software because Google Chrome and others had dropped support for Windows 7 and 8. Also I was getting crashes and everything was running so slow. So I tried Linux Mint 2 years ago and I have never looked back. I used to like Windows when we had Windows 7 but that's not supported anymore. So there is no option but to either upgrade to Windows 10 or 11. Or install Linux as I did because I did not want to use Windows 10. Windows 11 is even worse than 10. My new laptops came with that and I hated it. I was glad to uninstall it to get it off of my computer and I installed Linux Mint. It was the best thing I ever did as I don't get the problems I had on Windows. It works better than Windows 7 in fact. I only wish I had switched to Linux sooner.

I don't know if i'd rather be hit than hit someone, but not wanting to find out is definitely one of the reasons I don't want a license.

If I were to make the same meme today, I would still use him, so I'm not sure this dating method holds any water.

I want to turn off my PC but I'm the only seed for an unpopular linux distro. The downloader obviously has it capped at 1MB/s so it's crawling slowly... just a couple minutes now...

I have my download at 10MB and upload at 5MB. I don't want to hog all the bandwidth from my family and I don't need it any faster anyway. I never see the upload reach the cap.
