Well the last time plot mattered was when Brian De Palms was directing which was a while ago. I’m not complaining though, still like the franchise (apart from one entry) and enjoyed this one also.

Yep, pretty much this, loved some action sequences but even few of them, despite all the great effort put into them, we’re too long and getting tiresome. As the whole movie, as the whole franchise.
Just finished Death Stranding, kind of a mixed bag, feels like gave it much more of my time than it deserved, but that’s the damn neurotic completionist in me that can’t uninstall a gave without getting the damn platinum. Need to work on it.
Loved crossing the terrain, looking for paths, making everything to be more accessible, the whole damn delivering system was quite enjoyable.
Fighting and shooting not so much, but can live with those considering they were not the main focus (
spoiler
that fight with Higgs was such a chore though, did not enjoy a second of it
). And the story well, there were some good ideas there surely but the whole narrative and presentation of it did not have me invested at all. Lack of relatable, sympathetic characters didn’t help either. And what kind of bullshit was that never ending ending? Still, spent almost 100h on it and enjoyed most of it to some extent. Definitely won’t be picking up sequel though.
Started (barely) Hellblade now and wow, they surely now how to pull one such as myself into a story immediately. Too early to be passing any judgement but looks promising.
What are the super saver seats?
Can have some beans though.
