Oh I see, thanks. That's good to know. Content eventually started syncing in, but I had to subscribe to every one of the communities I found first.

Do you think that a search function may be integrated one day directly in the standard UI? Element-desktop for matrix offers searching for communities on other nodes (although only on selected instances).

Ok, I think it may just be some syncing issues. I can see comments/reactions slowly start pouring in.

I recall a similar experience when using matrix chat for the first time. Everything is synchronizing very slowly for the first time creating very confusing experience for new users.

I'm just starting with lemmy, so this may be a very basic question, but why do these numbers differ? I've searched for and subscribed to cats community for example. Why all the comments/reactions haven't been synced?

I've created an image showing this problem, but there was an error trying to send this image...

nvidia-utils breaks nvidia (pacman upgrade issue) in c/archlinux@lemmy.ml

This may be unrelated, but I’ve had to downgrade nvidia and nvidia-utils back to 535, because 545 broke “GPU hotplugging” (kernel panics after GPU is released/reinserted after GPU Passthrough to a VM as well as some wine applications. These may be unsupported features though.
