His point around 7:20 is very important. It's a trap of which I am definitely a victim:

" 'Just hit accept and play. You aren't important or powerful enough to spend brainpower on this.'

It's not about whether or not I believe that there will be a societally important reason that I personally sue Blizzard [...] It's about this very slow erosion of rights and the lowering expectations. "

My expectations of corperations is eroded as fuck mane. I literally accept that they are taking advantage of me because 'that's just how it is'.

Yeah, I wasn't talking about Floorp in particular. In fact, I read 'Open Source' from the Lemmy post title and attributed that language to Floorp itself.

After checking the project, I agree with what you've said here. Thanks for your thoughts

Ouuu. This makes sense to me, well thought

I agree about Rossmann. I see so much critism of him that boils down to "he's a manic nutbar". And while he certainly has these qualities, I find it inspiring that he has found so much success with his autism. Doubly-so because he is constantly advocating for people to better themselves and society.

It's the google classic:

  1. Have an awesome idea

  2. Go crazy on development

  3. Gain a loyal userbase

  4. ???

  5. Inspire hope

  6. ???

  7. Seperate entirely

Yeah my bad...the title of the post said Open Source when I first saw it and I never clicked on the repo itself

Damn... I totally forgot about stadia. I feel like it made so much noise then suddenly vanished without a trace...

I don't trust people who use misleading language. I'm fine with buying or using closed source or source available software, but don't call it open and don't say your 'F' is for Freedom.

Yep...when software advertised as "Open" uses that type licence, it goes straight to the trash.

This is awesome. Rust wearing full plate armor to dinner is hilarious... Also what's up with Scala? lmao

I have a chinese controller called the Vader 3 Pro and it's insanely nice. It costed me $60CAD shipped and delivered.

Leagues ahead of my previous favourite, the Sony Dualshock 4

Makes sense. If you're willing to take advantage of others, you can get advantages.

And these days, retaliation against adult bullies is not so straight forward.
